The Houston County Commission Planning to Spend $5.1 Million on Energy-Saving Project

The commission selected Trane as its ESCO provider last year, and the company has now provided the county with the proposal. The project will cost the county about $5.1 million, financed for 20 years, but Trane guarantees the investment will pay for itself through long-term energy savings. If savings fail to reach the promised levels, Trane will pay the county the difference.
