Hawaii Energy Program to Replace Old Lighting for Free for Small Businesses

Hawaii Energy, the ratepayer-funded energy conservation and efficiency program for Oahu, the Big Island, Maui, Molokai and Lanai, is offering small businesses and restaurants an opportunity to replace their old lighting with newer energy-efficient ones for free between now and June 9. Businesses pay about 33 cents per kilowatt hour on Oahu. Businesses with work space of less than 5,000 square feet qualify.
